Hooded Rider Proxy

So. Recently I got to thinking about Avatar Leviticus, and i decided I needed to pick up and /or proxy the various riders.

I thought I would start with the hooded rider, as its the one I like the look of least out of the ones Ive seen.

Anyway, below are some pictures of the finished article. He's made from bits from a wide variety of sources, such as fantasy lizardmen, new savage orcs, 40K grey knights, malifaux itself and a few other things, as well as a little bit of greenstuffing.

I originally began by sculpting a head and neck onto the body of a Mutant Horse model that i procured from Jimmy. onto this I added the neck spikes and the horns. the rider is made from a december acolyte that got butchered. His sword arm is made from all sorts  - the sword blade is a spear head from the savage orc box, the hand is a grey knight falchion hand, the arm is green stuff, while the cloak is from the acolytes leg.

the torso of the acolye remains the same, while the legs are also from the Mutant Horse model.

After painting, I decided I didnt like the sculpt of the head, so I cut it off and replaced it with a lizardman champion head to give the horse some much needed brightness.

Below are some pictures of the finished article. Note that the rider has changed slightly- all his clothes have been drybrushed skull white before being inked with purple (trousers) and green (everything else) inks from the old GW range.

now to do up a stat card for him and to actually use him! :D any feedback, good or bad, would be welcome.
